Stick On Stars
I was relieved to see the below review as I also had a regrettable experience at the Whitehall Hotel.
I believe it is rated a four diamond/three star hotel - however, as the title of my review states, I think they cut and pasted them on their certificates themselves.

Very Brusk
There was no help in carrying luggage up and down the stairs. The Staff and owners were brusk to a point of rudeness. Car parking had to be booked before arrival which we were not told at the time of booking so we had to park on the sea front below which is quite away from the hotel as it is situated at the top of a hill. No appologies were made for this oversight only that all the spaces available were full. Comment was passed as to the weight of the cases but no assistance given to carry them up the two flights of stairs. The rooms and food were average and so was the service.
