A well situated hotel that is finely decorated with godd service from very friendly staff. One of Cardiff's best.
This hotel could be even better if it had leisure facilities.

Top Local Tips for Cardiff

Friday night is fight night Be warned...... Ann Street (The main drinking area) is full of testosterone fuelled fighting idiots on a Friday night, it completely changes on a Saturday and is much more fun (and you are less likely to get your head caved in by a drunken idiot). The drinking goes on all night with some places open to 06.30.

new St David's Centre (2) A large shopping precinct is being built close to this hotel and the Marriott. It isn't conducive to a pleasant stay at present.

Try the bay for an excellent night out If you don't like having a night out that resembles a walk through a football crowd, go down to the bay rather than going to the City Centre. We did both and preferred the bay. The bars are still busy enough to meet a lot of people and there are some great places to eat, but you don't have to muscle you way to the bar in each establishment and you can drink and smoke outside on the decking.
