nice hotel great views lovelly staff only fault not enough walk in showers people requiring a shower were given a plastic shower to fix onto the taps which was better then nothing i suppose .food was very good no complaints.would return

Top Local Tips for Pitlochry

Blair Castle If you're in the area, be prepared to devote half a day to visiting this castle. One of the best we visited on our tour, with something for everyone. There are thirty rooms to visit, including several with themes such as the history of the Marquess of Atholl's private regiment, and fabulous collections of weaponry and armour. In the grounds, there's a lovely walk past a deer enclosure, through a wood full of huge pines, past a ruined kirk with a violent past, and into an enchanting landscaped garden. The castle's piper plays for about half an hour, three times a day.

Edradour Distillery Don't miss it. They have a pleasant tour, followed by an amazing tasting room stocked with dozens of premium whiskys, and delightful staff to guide you through a proper tasting. Bring cash - they don't take credit cards. It was the best of all our Scotland whisky experiences. If you can, take the forest trail to the distillery. It's beautiful.
