Top Local Tips for Nairn

out and about If your able to choose a route to your attraction,that avoids the A roads and uses the B roads,i would. we saw some great scenery and wildlife (red deer,eagles,osprey} and next to no other traffic,we drove from Inverness to Fort William on B roads down the side of Loch Ness,and the views were amazing,able to stop and just take in some great view points,alas no Nessie spottings. A visit to Cawder castle is a must,we arrived before castle opened at 10am and went into the gardens and at the rear of the garden found a gate to some amazing nature trails varying from 3/4 to 7 miles long,they are well sign posted. this turned out to be a pleasant mornings stroll and a great surpise,quiet,tranquil and great scenery
