Top Local Tips for Mallaig
Great little restaurant We had an evening meal at The Cornerstone Restaurant in Mallaig. It is right in the centre of the village near the railway station. Fantastic sea food, beautifully cooked - highly recommend it.

This hotel i admit was clean and the staff very courteous..but..disabled persons were put outside in what was called "The Annex",we had to walk through the dining room..down several steps, along a paved pathway more steps .more pathway ..more steps and a bit more pathway.
There was no diabetic food and after asking because it had been noted on my booking form..i still never recieved the correct diet for my disability nor other sufferers.
Food was to be desired????IE: chilli con carne..Ling Fish(full of bones)hot chicken salad which was starter size,Pork that was akin to boot leather, plus more than i care to mention..Definately not the kind of food for the elderly.oh and haggis also on the menu, many seniors wouldnot even look at it,let alone eat it.
Holiday stay athis hotel summed up in one word......Disgusted.
