As part of a training scheme, we had to go to Lockerbie Manor for 3 days. After reading some of the reviews on here I was slightly reserved about the idea. Taking into account I'm in my early 20's.
However when I arrived, the service, was like no other. I was offered coffee before I even had chance to sit down. I got my room, which had everything you wish to expect from a top class hotel. Such as, whirlpool baths, Iron, Hair dryer, alarm clock and most rooms have 4 poster beds. (I was staying with a group of 8) Lunch time arrived and it was unreal the variations available, which was well above standard.
We reached Dinner time, and the menu again surprised me, there were various amounts for all different kinds of people and cultures. I have to say that these were the best two evening meals of my life. It offers a good service, a bed and food. Which this rightly does to a standard above fantastic.
If you want; incredible service, food, scenery and the best hotel you will ever stay in. Then this is the hotel for you!

Good stop over location for Edinburgh and Glasgow Only 45-60 mins from Edinburgh and Glasgow so a cheaper way of seeing these two great cities.

Location Conveniently placed for Gretna, only a 20 minute, very straightforward drive

Weddings Check if there is a wedding on before you book, if there is then avoid like the plague!
