Stepping stone This place is pretty dull, infact very dull, if like me your walking the Westhighland way then it is a stepping stone on the journey but a very dull town indeed

Ballachulish Hotel Stay at the Ballachulish Hotel for less money and great food. Even coffee and tea are set out at night for the guests--free , of course. Historic. Lovely view. Easy to reach. Wonderful staff.

Best times to Visit Kinlochleven Visit Kinlochleven in May or June , these are most settled months on the West coast - no Midges ! The area visually is STUNNING ! so a car or some kind of transport is essential , there are great walks but always take you waterproofs and a stout pair of walking shoes
