White Heather Hotel Isle of Skye

We are so pleased we found this great little Hotel,the rooms are warm and comfortable,well appointed plenty of tea coffee and even hot chocolate the best shortbread biscuits I have tasted and with lovely views of the Harbour and castle. There are two lounges with lots of games in case of inclement weather. Breakfast was a feast, beautifully cooked by Craig and Gillian was always on hand to give any help to make our holiday really enjoyable. This is one we will return to - a truly memorable holiday.

Our warm welcome to the White Heather for Easter weekend began two weeks in advance with chatty, friendly email correspondence from Gillian. Our room had a lovely top floor view of the harbour and Castle Moil. It was tastefully decorated and cozy. Enjoying one of the two sitting rooms in the evenings was like sitting in our own home. Gillian and Craig chatted with us and lent us many maps and booklets for the Isle which allowed us to choose a route that showed us the best the Isle of Skye had to offer. We enjoyed the generous, made to order breakfasts in the delightful, sunny breakfast room. We didn't want to leave, but the rest of Scotland awaited us. We plan on returning. We have highly recommended the White Heather to a number of our friends both in the UK and the US.

We stayed at the White Heather in 2004 and are returning there again in September 2006. We had a lovely time there. Gillian and Craig are so nice and helpful. The room was nicely decorated and big enough to be roomy. We had a nice view overlooking the Castle Moil. We cant wait to go back again. Each evening you fill in a card to select what you want for breakfast the next day and hang it on your door for collection. Gillian was full of advice on where to go on the island and told us of some lovely places. The facilities are good, the hotel is clean and tidy and warm
