Big disappointment
We had booked a nearby luxury self-catering cottage (only 10 minutes walk away) for a week, and had intended to eat here on most evenings, for convenience, after returning from our various trips out around the island. But on our first day, we called for lunch, and discovered that (contrary to what is clearly stated on both of their road signs on the A863) they *don't* serve lunches (except on Sundays). The distinct unfriendliness of the owner (who was clearly irritated at being bothered by potential customers!) immediately convinced us that this establishment (completely atypical of the friendly Skye welcomes that we encountered elsewhere) should definitely be crossed off as our "evening oasis". Maybe they can fill the restaurant with their residents? Non-residents, look elsewhere.
