Comfortable, friendly,relaxed atmosphere. Amazing food, surroundings spectacular, friendly small island. Came for a day trip last summer and fell in love with the place. In Nov. came for a short break (and gaelic course) and fell in love with the hotel. We'll be back! Comfortable bed and room, cosy log fire in lounge, music session - what more can you ask for. Loved it.

Gigha - Gaelic for "God's island and I can see why Small island about 7 miles long - can be either a day trip or a longer stay. Easily accessible - 20 minute ferry ride from mainland if you are visiting Arran or |Kintyre or even a day trip from Glasgow - well served by public transport by the bus from Glasgow to Tayinloan on the Campbeltown route. Great walks, lovely green island with famous Gardens at Achamore House open to the public. Deserted beaches or in summer hire a bike or kayak.
