Slightly better than sleeping in the car

Rooms are very shabby. I needed to bleed the radiator in my room to get any heating at all. Food is also poor, it would seem the "Chef" only knows how to use a microwave. Free wifi is it's only plus point.

Avoid coach party hotels Go to smaller places, stay in out of the way establishments. Try inns as opposed to hotels necessarily. The Cross Inn, Cross, near Ness was wonderful.
