Waitresses were great - hotel tired

This hotel felt tired & meals were uninspiring. It felt that because coach parties stopped at the hotel, it didn't need to try too hard. Staff were great though - particuarly the waitresses.

The Grant Arms hotel is fantastic value for money. What it lack for in frills, it makes up for by the staff and quality of the food. The chef went out of his way to accommodate my dietry needs. I would recommened this hotel to anyone who needs a relaxing break from a busy schedule.

A constantly improving hotel

Last year the improvements had started and the hotel was cleaner and friendlier than with the previous owners. This year the changes are continuing. The meals are more varied and the helpings a little more substantial. The room are always clean and the staff exceptionally friendly and helpfull. A great break and we shall certainly be back.
