Quiet and Relaxing

When i saw the Tulip Inn advertised on the internet i decided to book it for my 40th birthday, i wanted it to be quiet and relaxing with no fuss for myself and my husband.When i arrived i discovered, i had arrived a day early (you can imagine the panic) Scott on the reception at the time made no fuss, took everything in hand and sorted everything out. He even managed to calm me down as i was sick with worry 'what were we going to do'.I found the hotel to be spotless the whole time we were there,the food was delicious,the room service was excellent and the staff were very very friendly.The Tulip Inn is in an ideal spot,not too far from the town for shopping and all the sightseeing tours.I wouldnt hesitate to book there again the next time im in scotland. Thank you again for a wonderful break.

Museums Underground to Hillhead, visit Mackintosh house near University, walk through uni and park to Kelvingrove Museum. Lunch in the smart basement cafe or the family cafeteria on the ground floor. Cross the road to the transport museum, then walk back to Kelvinhall underground. Only the first has an entry fee, so a full day of fascinating buildings and exhibits for very little money.
