Great staff and great food

We recently stayed at this hotel as we were attending a family party. The staff were very helpful and nothing was ever a problem for them. The manager even made sandwiches for my cousin when she arrived as the chef had not started yet! The food was really tasty and their portion sizes were good. The bar has an excellent selection of whiskies of which the manager was very knowlegable about and more than happy spending about hour or so behind the bar telling us about the different types they had and recommending ones for us to taste.
The rooms are very clean and a good size. One of our party even ended up with a suite with kitchen, livingroom and there own private garden with sun room at no extra cost. I can not sing the praises of this hotel enough! I wish I could remember the managers name as he desrves a special mention.

good meal, friendly helpful staff. To many whiskies to choose from I'll need to go back to try and work my way throught the list. Rooms comfortable and clean. Nice to see wifi broadband in the hotel.

Staff more than happy to help by sorting out food for the kids which wasn't on the menu. Excellent to have two rooms next to each other with our own lounge. Restaraunt busy, good food and loved the real ales on offer, just wish more places had them. We'll be back when we're next up to see family.

Fair.Food OK. Cold day given the key to a room - no heating a little shabby. First impressions poor.
