Brilliant stay

I stayed for a couple of nights and from the moment I checked in to the time I left I found the staff exceptionally polite and friendly. They couldn't do enough for me. room was of a decent size and very clean with a very comfortable bed. Had dinner on one night and found the food and service to be very good. would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Whilst the hotel bar and restaurant were very nice, the food was good and staff courteous and friendly.
I found the rooms to be of a tired state, the worst thing of all was the old antiquated cheap beds which were so uncomfortable, by the end of the week I was so tired and felt ill from the lack of sleep.

Verbually abused for not liking over cooked food

Serving staff were OK, but management were rude and abusive to my wife. No customer service what so ever. Very dissapointed, overseas family who were with us could not believe what happened. No appology given.

This was not an overnight stay except by my relatives who I understand know the Laich well and chose it for the occasion. My own comments on the overall service in the afternoon was excellent indeed and courteous and know one as I saw was missed out. The family stayed for a meal in the evening, 12 of us, and we all enjoyed a pleasant evening and finally "forced” to leave by the overworked staff!!
