Stayed for one night wish it was more. At a party in the hotel first class, all the staff make you feel at home patter is second to none. Pat makes breakfast at the Dean like a comedy show and fawlty towers. Okay it is in need of some TLC but the foods good the beds are clean and in less than 5 minutes your in the city centre. I will be back but not in 2 or 3??

This is the second time that I have stayed at the Dean. The owner and staff make you feel like part of the Family. No, it's not the Ritz, but it's almost home. I'll stay there again.

I thought this hotel was great. If you are a fan of the sterile, cloned hotel chains then you'll hate it but if you like something a bit different it's definately for you. Sure, the windowledge needed cleaning and there was no ensuite but the building was beautiful, the staff were a great laugh and the hotel had bags of character and down-at-heel charm. The sheets and towels were immaculate and the bed was really comfy. Forget bland, impersonal hotel chains and give it a go, it's definately worth it.

We were moved to this hotel due to leakage at another. The breakfast was the best bit, seeing that the scrappy room we were given had a hole in the door, curtains dangling on a wire, broken light hanging off, stained carpet, shabby wardrobe with broken mirror. I've had better rooms in student accomodation :O( All in all, not worth the money.
