There is something strange going on at this Hotel.
Before arriving we were informed that the Breakfast is now Contintenal Buffet, not Full Cooked Breakfast, since the company running the kitchens had now left.
The hotel is well located in a quiet road, with-in walking distance of the City Centre. The room was fine. But I question weather this Hotel should retain it's four stars since it now offers no Restaurant facilities.
We had pre-booked packed lunches at a agreed price of £10 each. We were provided with a round a cheese and tomato and a roaund of ham and tomato sandwiches, the fillings for which came directly from the breakfast buffet table. In addition we had a plastic container of "Salad" consisting of lettuce, tomato and lemon wedges! We had no means of eating this. We were also given a variety of fruit, also from the breakfast table! We had to ask for a drink, which was bottled water! There was no-one in authority to deal with our complaint, and we were charged £20......
