Service was good, staff were friendly and helpful, food was good, management helpful and all round accommodating, drinks were a bit expensive but nothing to break the bank. We will be returning early next spring.

I stayed here for a weekend with my partner at the end of January. The hotel was first class. Could not fault the food or the service. We had dinner the first night in the restaurant and the second night in the bistro-the food in both was lovely. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. I would definately use this hotel again and would recommend anyone to stay here.

This hotel, well located, offers in general a good quality service. The big problem which we can encounter in this hotel is the honesty and the respect with the customers. If you are sent in this hotel by your company, will know whereas if the personnel provide an erroneous or unsatisfactory service, the direction of the hotel will come to complain to the direction of your company! It as should be known as the kindness towards to the personnel of the hotel can also be badly taken by its direction and that this one is likely to benefit from it to offer a worse service or to increase its prices. Unfortunately, e thus recommend acting with prudence and mistrust! ------------------------------------------------ Cet hôtel, bien situé, offre en général un service dassez bonne qualité. Le gros problème quon puisse rencontrer dans cet hôtel est lhonnêteté vis-à-vis des clients. Si vous êtes envoyé dans cet hôtel par lintermédiaire de votre entreprise, sachez alors que si le personnel vous fournit un service erroné ou insatisfaisant, la direction de lhôtel viendra se plaindre auprès de la direction de votre entreprise ! Il faut aussi savoir que la gentillesse envers le personnel de lhôtel, peut également être mal très mal pris par sa direction et que celle-ci risque den profiter pour offrir un moins bon service ou augmenter ses prix. Nous recommandons donc dagir avec prudence et méfiance. Dommage !

Peace and Quiet

Lovely atmosphere staff and food. Heart stopping view of Pentland Hills from lounge and dining room. Comfortable room squirrel outside. Only drawback is lack of lift. We shall return.
