| A Wonderful Birthday Treat |
|
This was, unfortunately, a one night stop over en route to Fife. The day happened to be my birthday, and my partner surprised me with this little treat at the Castle Campbell Hotel. We wished it could have been a longer stay. Our room was a standard double, everything one could possibly need, and comfortable, and lucky for us there was wireless internet connection, which was very helpful. We dined in the Restaurant. Everything was mouth-wateringly delightful. Wonderful food, and a lovely atmosphere in the dining room, and the Head Waiter/Manager was very attentive. We loved everything about the Hotel, although some carpets here and there were a little worn, but that did not matter, it all added to the charm of the place. Breakfast was gorgeous too. My scrambled eggs were beautifully cooked, and my partner said his breakfast was out of this world. We are familiar with Cockburns Black Pudding, as we live in Inverness.
We shall return, probably for Christmas 2008. Thank you Castle Campbell. |

Beautiful location, excellent service from a friendly staff. Food was second to none and we wish we could of stayed longer. We had a brilliant weekend and hope to come back very soon. |

| Excellent service, staff, food and comfort |
|
Look no further for a beautiful little hotel with the most wonderful food, whisky selection, staff, comfort and friendliness, nicely located to be driveable to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth, Sterling, Dundee etc. all within an hour. We've been there more than thirty times and keep coming back for more. What greater testimonial could there be? |
