Stags Heads, heavy curtains, four poster bed and furniture from the castles (with a TV out of place in the corner for the desperados to watch X-Factor!).

Lovely weekend made all the better by the sunny autumn weather with snow on the mountain tops.

If you want a boring modern hotel painted in Magnolia, stay away from Glenorchy!

Excellent food, beautiful views, romantic setting and atmosphere, great service and pleasant staff, very reasonable.
Going back next year for wedding anniversary to stay to try accommodation

This hotel was recommended to us by our wedding coordinator who was a resident of Dalmally. We decided to stay at the Glenorchy Lodge because the room rate was reasonable. We were pleasantly surprised to find that it was a very charming and quaint hotel with friendly staff and excellent service. We did not expect to find fine dining in a hotel of such a small stature. We found the food to be exceptionally good. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The hotel services and the serene atmosphere of the surrounding area made for a relaxing holiday.
