I stayed in Argyll Arms during Music Festival. I had a great time, great company, food and staff. Good value for money for a budget hotel. Highly recommended.

chinese please normally when faced with a small remote town exotic cusine is best avoided however there is a little sit in and takeaway chinese just before the main street which suprisingly rivals the best glasgow has to offer!
great cheese factory , lovely gift shops pity it rained and blew gales, when we were there in december in the summer it will be a place to see esp the coastline.

Food,service and staff excellent,Hogmanay entertatnment poor, would have liked a much more scottish evening.Instead got a disco with a rather pathetic DJ who played a handful of Scottish dance tunes but did'nt announce what the dance was and on the one time he did he said it was a Dashing White Sergeant when it was a Canadian Barn Dance.On the whole it was still a good stay and good value for money
