This hotel is in a great location. From the minute we arrived until we left the service in the hotel was fantastic. Clean, comfortable rooms and good food. Would definitely recommend to others.

I have just arrived home from a five day break here and eveything was GREAT. The staff were very helpful and the coach drivers were very good. They described all the interesting places as we passed them.

We have just returned from a 5 day stay here. Had a lovely time. Scenery breathtaking. Outings very ejoyable. Staff,food,hotel,excellent. Will definitely be back.

This was the first time I have travelled using Lochs and Glens to spend a 5 day break at one of their hotels - the Loch Achray ! The coaches used by this company are modern and well equipped so the journey up there was most pleasant. The driver was friendly and helpful throughout. Upon reaching the hotel a member of staff climbed aboard and introduced themselves and presented timetables. Soon after settling in it was time for dinner - a three course meal from an extensive menu which changed on a daily basis. The following morning it was breakfast with two courses. This was the meal 'pattern' but with a variation of times to accomodate the other bus parties - to make it fair in the sittings. Now the food here is out of this world and I congratulate wholeheartedly everyone involved in it's preparation along with the staff who served it with such proffesionalism. In fact the staff at this hotel are superb and obliging at all times and need to be commended. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated, has a massive entertainment lounge for the nightly hosted venues and the bedrooms are first class with everthing you would expect. Personally, I did not attend the daily trips offered which are excellent (and in with the deal) but instead chose to do my own thing (a spot of gold prospecting in the vicintiy). Everyone here is free to do what they want without ties to the schedule. This was without doubt the best hotel in which I have stayed and I am most certainly looking forward to returning there in the future.

Just got back from Loch Achray with Lochs and Glens coaches. Brilliant staff, lovely room, excellent food with good choice and very filling and the entertainment very good. View from hotel breathtaking. Only downside sometimes too long between dinner and entertainment. Overall 11 out of 10.

IN NO WAY COULD THIS HOTEL BE DESCRIBED AS A 'HOLE' - I think the first reviewer must have been staying at a completely different Loch Achray hotel. The staff were polite, cheerful and friendly, the quality of the food was excellent - well cooked and nicely presented and the hotel itself was very clean and comfortable. Apart from the guests who had come on organised coach holidays, there were also a number of independent visitors and all were treated with the same courtesy and professionalism.

great location, unfortunately the staff have clearly been trained in the 1950's school of highland hospitality. when a barmaid shouts at you through a door from 15 feet away "i'm no' servin ye there, ye'll have to come around here", you know you're in a place where service is not high on the agenda. closing the bar at half ten also made me think i'd stepped back in time. the owners of this hole have obviously decided that since the bulk of their customers are one-time visitors on coach tours, they don't have to make any effort to bring them back again. a lousy, awful hotel. avoid at all costs.

This was self drive offer which was an excellent choice for us. The Staff are young and very pleasant as well as hardworking. Nice hotel, clean and well run. Would visit again.
