Top Local Tips for Brodick
North Atlantic wind. Be prepared for cold wind if you want to walk on the beach. We were there in mid-June, and had to wear warm jackets while outside. It was, however, a rainy day, so this may not be such a problem when the weather is fair. We had fantastic warm weather for seven days out of our ten day trip.
Walking Take walking boots for walking around. There are loads of pathways for walkers all very well maintained; it's the best way to see things (like the amazing standing stones) and to enjoy the beautiful countryside.
Kings Caves and stone circles If you are able, make sure you do the nice walk along the coast to the Kings Caves and then on to the stone circles at Macharie Moor.
