I stayed at The Chestnuts Hotel while on a golfing trip with my local golf club. We stayed for a few nights, where we dined in their private function room each night and enjoyed a wonderful relationship with the staff. The rooms and bar could probably do with a facelift, but it is the atmosphere around the place that makes The Chestnuts the best hotel i've been to in years. The receptionist Rhonda is always kind, pleasant and more than willing to help us with our golfing queries. We also had a great rapport with the two barmen Scott and Stuart who were always smiling and ensuring we were enjoying ourselves! The food is also a treat, and the chef is more than willing to talk to customers about their meal! A lovely touch!

The only thing we wished we could have had was a guestbook to thank everyone for their help. We will book again for next year!
