i would just like to say that my stay at the colquhoun arms hotel was very comfertable. after i had booked my stay at the hotel i checked trip adviser and i was realy expecting the worst stay ever however when i arrived i was met by a plesant young man at the reception. i then came down for my dinner in the bar area wich was realy nice and it was served by very plesant staff i would recomend this hotel to you .

Booked up for one the party nights, a £39 for the two of we were not expecting much. However, the night just seemed to never stop. We started at 7pm with a meal then had a live band till 12 and a disco / karoke till about 4am, yes 4am. Our food was nice, we had a nice 4 poster bed room. Next time we are bringing back a a big group of friends, a really good night out.

I went along to a dinner dance with friends and was most disappointed. The rooms were a health hazard with dampness in the shower cabinets. To make things worse you could not open your room window as the paint had jammed the window closed which again was a fire safety hazard. The rooms are old fashioned and the bedspreads were frayed. We were left a memo on top of our bed saying that since it wasnt a 5 star hotel not to expect the same. We did not expect 5 star treatment but we were so disappointed overall with the stay. I would never stay there again.

Sleeping in a car Luss is a beautiful place but do not stay in the Colquhoun Arms. I was rather sleep in the car

Find somewhere nice If you have nice accomondation in Luss, its a lovely place, very nice locals, beautiful setting, and a tidy area with good facilities
