Fantastic views and great value

This was a great place to stay. We had a fantastic view of the bay from our window, with Slieve Donard on one side and the Isle of Man and Scotland ahead. The staff told us that 15 out of 16 rooms have this great view. The hotel is privately owned and they seem to be working their way round it doing it up. The bedroom was newly decorated and very clean as were the dining room and reception. The priority now should be the outside as this looks a bit run down, which is not a good first impression. The breakfast was tasty and fresh. The staff were friendly and the location was close to the action, but not too close.

Arrived at door, waited 20 mins to get answer from door. Toilet was being painted, couldn't use it. Bear in mind they knew I was coming. Someone 21st birthday party on, would not let us into the bar. Packed bags and left.
