I have to say this is the worst place our family has ever stayed in. We were booked for 4 nights but left the next morning at 7.30am. The place is infested with flies and stinks. I don't think it has been decorated since the mid 70s..All that beauty board and worn carpet. The place has the worst decor and has a pool table that is so warped that the white ball runs from one side to the other without touching it. Anyway we got our keys and the barman led us to the room...Oh my god, the corridor to it smelt like a bar that had not been ventilated from a heavy nights drinking and smoking from the night before, or perhaps 10 years before. Now for the room. Well on entering, it was the most basic room ever. 3 single beds for a party of 4.....the sheets were urine stained, the pillows stunk of beer, Budweiser bottle caps on the floor, a heater on the wall which, although worked was ready to go on fire at anytime. The room was like those old temporary school classrooms from years ago. Like a portacabin. Our son spent the whole night trying to kill what looked like a monster spider with the soap bar. The storage area consisted of a unit that must have been reclaimed from a skip site. The bathroom had a toilet that dripped all night, a shower again from the 70s with it's own rusted pole for the shower head to move on and a frosted window which opened about 5 inches outwards with its own unique abundance of spiders and flies at each side. The next morning when was leaving the lady who was cleaning the toilets, hovering and dusting informed me that breakfast was in this other room which was another school hut and guess what? She was also the cook!. Oh by the way the school hut had holes in the walls and you could see outside. How crap is that? We got some breakfast as the kids were hungry, but kept them to the safe stuff like toast and tea. After this we bolted!!!! Don't go here for health reasons. Go to the Killyhevlin hotel instead. Worth every penny.
