Bit of a Let Down

We recently stayed at the Bushmills Inn on the recommendation of good friends who have stayed there a number of times in the past. The two of us couples spent the night - rooms were lovely and very comfortable and the food was ok, I thought overpriced, but no major complaint. Our one complaint was that they continuously played OLD American music the whole time - Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr, etc.!! When asked about the music selection, the staff member responded that they get it from satellite, no control over it, but it seemed to loop the songs which makes me think it's recorded, not satellite. Why if you are in Ireland, are you playing OLD American music instead of traditional Irish music? And why is the American flag flown over the building - just curious. Nice place but disappointing in some ways.
