Good, but time for a facelift

Great location - quiet but easy walk to Shanklin. Great views, nice grounds, really good food, staff very friendly and helpful. Decor and general appearance looking a bit tatty in places. Heating not controllable. Soundproofing not great.

Top Local Tips for Shanklin

Excellent seafood. I would recommend a visit to Ventnor, very pretty seaside town. It was very warm day and we sat outside and had lunch at the Spyglass Inn. The food was excellent, especially the crab salad. We also went to the Botanical Gardens just outside Ventnor. Very worthwhile visiting this place - really lovely place and free!
