A very warm welcome greeted us on arrival at the hotel that only got better as each day passed. We were made to feel as part of the family and Bernie's sense of humor was very enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble for him or Lesley, even when we asked for things that weren't on the menu we got it!!! When we were there, there were two couples that have been going there for years and no wonder why, we would definitely go back there without hesitation. All the food is home-cooked and absolutely delicious courtesy of Lesley. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The location is good with the beach, town and pubs close by, that said the hotel does have a bar if you don't feel like venturing out. For a 2 star "small" hotel this is very good value for money with my wife, 2 sons (23 & 20 ) and myself going home reluctantly wishing we could have stayed longer.
