although the room was a little tired improvements are in progress but acceptable, the bar area was very nice with beamed ceiling and comfortable seating, the staff were excellent and very attentative at all times ,the food was excellent we had full english breakfast in the morning and dinner at night, superb.i also rented golf clubs at only £5 and the 9 holes were brilliant possibly one of the most tricky 9 holes ive played. would love to return and stay there if we go to jersey again

We have stayed at The Wheatlands in 2007 but we came here in 2006,2005,2003 & 2002 we stayed eleswhere this year (2008) bad idea!!! It is nice to stay somewhere that is on a quiet lane, the setting is wonderful and im sure if you are a golf player the hotel will be perfect. Rooms are clean and tidy, breakfast is very good and the staff could not be more friendly. Carol the owner is very approachable too. Has a large bar which is very comfy. We have taken our two dogs each year and that has never been a problem, nor the fact that my husband leaves at 4.30am to go kayak fishing, nothing is a problem with the owners and staff here.
