Visiting Jersey on business for 10 days recently, I stayed at the Sarum and found it very clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. Lovely garden with swimming pool though it was too cold to swim in April as the pool is only heated from May to September. Free wi-fi internet - very useful - and good breakfasts. Spent my evenings in the large games room playing pool and watching the widescreen TVs. I thought the standard was pretty high for a budget priced hotel. One warning - only hot snacks available in the evenings - not full meals - though there are lots of restaurants, cafes and pubs in the vicinity and most of the bedrooms have kitchenettes if you want to cook for yourself.

Toilettes not acceptable

If you don't mind that the bathroom especially the toilette of the selfcatering suite stinks and that there are many ants living near the window in the corridor you can choose the Sarum Hotel.

The swimming pool with garden and the lounge were acceptable.

All in all the hotel didn't fulfill our expectations.
