Depending where you look up Ocean Walk guest house you will get differant gradings for it, on most websites and jersey travel brochures it is listed as ungraded, when we were there it had a 3 star grading. Anyway, we stayed there at the end of may and the first week of June. The views from the hotel are wonderful, the rooms are very clean and tidy, a good size and very affordable, we were on the rear of the hotel, so you dont get the views but it could be a little noisey on the front. The room we were in had 1 window that couldn't be opened due to the lack of a handle and 1 window that would not close. There was also a lack of glasses/beakers and clock/radio in the room, but that is just our opinion. The hotel is right on the side of the road, something that is cleverly hiden in all the photos of the outside of the hotel or photos taken from the inside !!!!! There is a lovely piece of garden to use just across the road, then the wonderful beach that is St Aubins Bay....WOW !!!! I would recomend this hotel to anyone traveling by foot/cycle to jersey as it is perfect for the foot/cycle path that runs from St Helier to St Aubins and there is a bus stop 10 yards up the road, if you are hiring a car then please make it a small one as the parking at the rear is the hotels biggest downfall, it is advertised as "ample parking" this is not true, there are only 7 small spaces and whilst we were there, there were 10 cars trying to park in them, we do have a large car (L200) but have never had problems before. Some nights/mornings it was like musical cars with everyone trying to get in or out. Take out the parking problems the hotel is very good. Nikki the manager is freindly and approachable, the staff are polite but not chatty and there are limited tables at breakfast so often you had to share, this we enjoyed but other older guests, walked out and came back later. Breakfast was fine and there were good choices. A lovely little hotel with a great manager. Wonderful views, but awful parking.
