We found the staff extremely friendly and helpful. We would have hoped for more lounge space to sit during an evening, there was only a small bar area and seats dotted about the hotel public corridors. The large games room (for families) was underused and this could have been made into a more inviting sitting area. The food was excellent except on 3 separate days an item was unavailable (eg. marmalade, icevcream, cheese bisicuits) which suggested bad stock control! We would visit the hotel again should we stay in Jersey again

Beachcombers is situated within a 15 minute walking distance of Gorey Village. St Helier is 10 minutes driving distance away. The staff were friendly & polite. We decided on half board and were pleased with the evening meals - I've put on 3lbs this week! The rooms were clean and tidy - the cleaning staff were very efficient. Only a couple of minor points - we chose to arrive on a cold and windy weekend. The room's electric heater wasn't really up to the job, although additional blankets were provided. The bathroom's shower pressure was low, so not efficient. Lastly, the walls/ceilings couldn't mask all the noise from inconsiderate neighbouring guests - but that's not the hotel's fault!

Great Value Beachcombers

We booked this hotel from an advert in the paper on an all inclusive basis which came with breakfast, dinner and free bar. The room was comfortable and the hotel was well run with friendly helpful staff. We'd definately stay here again and book through the same company (3X Travel) as they were very good.
