Stayed for 5 days, exceptionally clean hotel, nice decor. Staff very efficient, helpful and friendly. Great food and plenty of it. Good location with view to front over looking beech. You simply cant knock this hotel for service and value. Planning a 2nd visit to this hotel in the near future.

Well where do i start, if your looking for a room with seagulls nesting next to your window!!!! And keeping you awake at 3am in the morning, then this place is for you. accounts manager very rude and not helpfull infact this has to be the worst hotel ive ever stayed in.... dirty staff dont speak english very well, not helpfull.. so im not sure who wrote the other reviews but i heard alot of people complaining!!!!! avoid...

First clas hotel, well maintained, wonderful food and staff very helpful especially Anna who was a delight. Thoroughly enjoyed our week there and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel was very impressive in a nice spot by beach. Beautiful rooms and wonderful food. Staff friendly in particular waitress called barbara from poland who was so energetic and happy doing her job. Would definitely stay again.

This is the second time that we have stayed here. The Ambassaduer is one of the best 3 star hotels we,ve ever used. *** Noted *** The warm,comfortable and spacious room was meticulously cleaned daily by friendly staff, tops of surfaces too...10/10 The waitresses are highly efficient, their economy of movement and multi-tasking abilities,is delivered with a friendly greeting and demeanor that make mealtimes a pleasant experience.10/10

Great hotel and location

The Ambassadeur Hotel in Jersey is great value for money very close to beach shops and capital St Helier yet in quiet road and when we stayed here in August was very satisfied by all aspects of this lovely hotel and their very friendly helpful attitude and offers great entertainment a lovely varied menu and delicious desserts and has a lovely swimming pool which we enjoyed on many a day to cool off from the sun, There was lifts here and felt The Amassadeur was close to various things yet in good area, and had very nice rooms which were spotless and immaculate throughout this hotel. There was various alcoholic drinks available in the bar and eats available through the day if peckish though the meals in the dining room were more than adequate to fill us up and felt this hotel is suitable for all and close to a delightful church and amenities and shops nearby and had superb service and surroundings and a large car park, quiet lounge and we definately will stay here again should we return to Jersey in the future and laid on trips out on coaches and had ground floor bedrooms for lessabled people but lifts as well and enjoyed visiting the lovely glass church samares manor house and gardens, the zoo as well as various museums as jersey is steeped in history of world war 2 and has a fascinating underground military hospital as well as superb beaches and countryside where you might spot geoffrey boycotts house or alan wickers white house or the house the actress Lily Langtree use to live in.

Top Local Tips for Jersey

Hire a car Buses are good but to see the island properly from st Clement you need a car.

BUS SERVICE THE BUS SERVICE IS FREQUENT AND CHEAP, YOU CAN BUY A THREE DAY TICKET WHICH WILL TAKE YOU ANYWHERE ON THE ISLAND SO NO NEED REALLY TO HIRE A CAR

Good for cars not so good for walkers St Clements is a five minute car drive from St Helier, but a twenty minute walk from St Helier. There is not actually much in St Clements, so staying there is only ideal for the car driving tourist, though there is a great bus service which goes all over the island. Great base for touring the island, as you can get places and avoid the build up of traffic in St Helier.
