Fantastically friendly and helpful staff

I stayed at this hotel with my elderly father 3 yrs ago.The rooms were clean and comfortable. Food in restaurant was fresh and excellent quality. Yes some of the staff are foreign and they went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. One even offered us a lift into town when we couldn't get a cab. The owner was very friendly and hotel had a very relaxed atmoshere and the location and views are out of this world. It was one of the friendliest places I have ever visited and plan to return this year.

An awful hotel

I suppose you get what you pay for - it was cheap and very nasty! The proprietor is obviously an accomplished self publicist who believes his own publicity. The small room stank of cigarettes, the bar was was intimidating, the foreign staff didnt speak English, the breakfast was institutional. We left after one night, after paying for three. As the hotel's website said - look at our guestbook. We did - and others agreed with us!
