Our family stayed at a cottage in the grounds of La Collinette this summer. Firstly I would like to say that the standard was very high both of the hotel and the self catering aspect. Our cottage slept four with plenty of room to move around, and cook in the very adequate kitchen. Everything was spotless. The pool area was also well maintained and was very quiet even though it was august. We only ate in the hotel restaurant only once and the meal was not great, but it filled a gap on our arrival night.

The staff were all really helpful on the front desk and in the bar area so all in all we had a lovely time on the lovely island of Guernsey. A great little hotel

St Peter Port town center St Peter Port has some lovely shops including some of the ones you will find in the uk and quite a few of its own and its great fun walking along its cobbled highstreet pottering in and out of these.There are also quite a few different places to eat in the town center at all sorts of budgets.

BEST HOTEL CLOSE TO TOWN; SEA AND SHOPPING! The Clubhouse at the Collinete is the best place to stay in Guernsey.It is actually 5 mins from Town, sea and shopping. Nicely decorated, properly furnished bedrooms with lots of complimentary items, a top quality East-African themed restaurant with excellent food, very reasonably priced from 3 -14 pounds pe rmeal and no rip-offs! Nice, friendly staff, saw to all our needs. We have stayed at many other hotels over the years but decided to stay at the Clubhouse after reading a Tripadvisor review. We were more than pleasantly surprised., and didn´t have to have "deep pockets" to stay there, unlike al the other hotels where they don´t provide the good quality compimentaries or value for money. This hotel realises that people now demand value for money, a much higher standard of accomodation, and choice of food which has been properly cooked, and is of a high standard together with pleasant surroundings. TGIF´s review on this site was honest and far exceeded our expectations.
