My wife and I stayed for 4 nights and it was excellent , the food was great and we wished we had used the restaurant every night ,the bar was not expensive and well stocked , the room was clean and tidy and it is central to all the town has to offer the hotel can not be faulted . The only thing that should be pointed out is that as the address states constitution steps , this area is not for anybody who cannot manage steps easily . This is not a criticism of the hotel but the area around the town is very hilly , only the seafront is level the main shopping area is uphill . The bus service is marvelous which was pointed out to me by the hotel manager when I made the booking , in fact in my opinion a car would be more of a hindrance than a benefit the buses are regular and any journey is 60p . I would definitely go back to Guernsey and this hotel

Quiet and friendly hotel, always a good welcome. Lovely garden and great views over St. Peter Port. Very close to all amenities. On a series of steps so not suitable for all.
