St Pierre Park, is a very beautiful hotel, professionally run, with very helpful staff. It is maintained to a high standard, and nothing is too much trouble... The staff try very had to make your stay a happy and pieceful one. Unfortunately we didnt use all the facilities on offer.. but took a peek at the facilities, and couldnt fault anything. The grounds were very well kept, and a joy to walk around on the hot nights we had. Top marks to the staff... We enjoyed a truly wonderful break.

Top Local Tips for Guernsey

Parking Make sure you get a Parking Card, and if you are going somewhere special get there early as parking is at a premium

Rental cars There are bus routes on the island and the tourist authority encourage cycling but, honestly, I do think most people need a car. The roads are so busy plus narrow and twisty that you need to be a very brave and experienced cyclist to tackle them. I also wouldn't want to rely only on the buses to get around. Small cars are much more convenient, so if yous is large, consider renting rather than bringing yours over on the ferry
