Have just broken the habit of a lifetime and booked to return to a hotel for the second time. This hotel, staff, cuisine, etc. etc. is for my taste just about as perfect as you can get.

Due to fog, my flight was cancelled. Went to information desk who immediately recommended this hotel, and they were right, close to airport, but still secluded. Great food and the proprietor actually picked up the stranded guests at the airport. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed for a 3 night break at Le Chene, and must say that the stay was very good indeed. the only critisism was that there was a rather limited lunch menu (just sandwiches made by the receptionist basically) but the evening meals more than made up for that, excellent choice and service there. Would recommend, definitely. If we decided to return, we will stay there again.

I booked at le Chene hotel for 2 nights on business, my usual 3 star hotel was closed for the winter. Excellent stay, Free Wifi in rooms was a nice touch together with the free upgrade to double for sole. At £ 37 bed & breakfast I could not falt anything with room service for breakfast an option at no extra cost.
Would recommend for business travellers although prices will go up in high season to £ 44.

For the first time I booked a 2 star instead of usual large 3 and 4 stars. The attention to detail made our stay, excellent food, quality rooms and staff who actually care about their work and your wellbeing. Would recommend.
