Very good value for money. Excellent staff especially Carlos ( with glasses) in the restuarant. When a problem arose it was dealt with at once and resolved. Excellent food. Good location for the airport and local buses. Will be back.

Couldn't be faulted, great getaway !

My wife and I booked a 3 night break via Island Getaways in the half term. The hotel was very well appointed, and spotlessly clean. All the staff were attentive and very helpful. The food was excellent, good hearty breakfasts ! and superb dinners ( great sorbets !) in a relaxing atmosphere. Pool was available all the time and the Gym was well equipped. Highly recommended, look forward to returning.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our six night stay at this hotel. The room and facilities were excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning.

Disappointing

Friendly staff and a very clean hotel were ruined by numerous 'faults' that could be viewed as minor if there weren't so many of them. Every pint of drink we bought at the bar was served short, breakfasts were often warm despite a very hot plate, the tv in the room was around 20 years old with a barely working remore control (and it wouldn't switch off, only to stand-by), the loo seat would not stay in the upright posistion (awkward for men to say the least), extractor fan stayed on for only 30 seconds after the light was switched off, functions on 2 nights went on later than expected and destroyed attempts to sleep, over priced bar menu produced meals that were nothing special, too warm in the corridors. None of the above were really worth complaing about, but those and many other things mean we won't be returning. We didn't even get "good bye" when we checked out, let alone anyone asking if we'd had a good stay or would be back!

Booked partly to use the swimming pool so disapponted that it was not open at all during our stay. The reason given (every day) was that chlorine levels were too high! I'm no expert but surely this could have been corrected? Otherwise, breakfast was fine and staff were good apart from cleaners holding a noisy get-together in the corridor at 730 on Sunday morning. Only one other gripe, the place was far too hot with no way of regulating and the response on mentioning this was "it's better to be too hot than too cold". Had to disagree, that's what clothes are for...

The hotel itself was firstly, easy to find! The first impression of the building was excellent with nicley manicured lawns and pretty flower beds between the hotel and the main road. There were only two drawbacks for my wife and I in what was otherwise a nice experience; the restaurant, while being excellent for breakfast, slipped up for the one evening meal we took there. I ordered roast beef and the trimmings and was served a rather tough portion of beef (I had my doubts when they swapped my dinner knife for a steak knife!)and a Yorkshire pudding which owed more to a sponge cake than the traditional pudding. Also the whole meal was lukewarm rather than hot. The dessert we ordered was described as cheesecake but seemed more like a cream mousse. Having said all this we found the staff attentive (a bit too much at times as there seemed to be far too many of them for the number of guests in the restaurant!) and pleasant. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout and the facilities impeccable.

Fantastic service & friendly staff

My wife and I enjoyed a very pleasant four days in Guernsey, without the kids! The hotel staff couldn't have been friendlier, the service was excellent throughout and the room was just perfect. Looking forward to returning soon.
