Thought the Hotel Jerbourg was great! The rooms were (very) clean, yet the addition of a mini-fridge would be an improvement. The menu was well presented, yet the lounge bar was somewhat quiet (or simply quite dull), some of the waiting staff can appear to be rather pompous. The only downside was the nearby mist / fog horn which sounds every 20 seconds (which can keep residents awake all night) when either condition decends.

Hotel Jerbourg - Superb
We have stayed at the Jerbourg twice in the last few years and are about to go and stay there again this September 2005. We are looking forward to our stay as we know that the rooms are excellent especially the Balcony rooms. The service is excellent and the staff are always friendly and willing to help. The menus in the restaraunt and the bar are both superb, catering for all tastes. The swimming pool is a fantastic bonus and the grounds are the ideal place to relax after leisurely exploring this beautiful island. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stays at this hotel in the past and choose to go back again because we know that we can relax and truly enjoy the service that the hotel provides. Also an added bonus are the views across to Sark and Herm and in good weather you can see as far as Jersey and even France. Wonderful.
