Fantastic stay
We went for our first anniversary and it was fantastic, we had our room up graded and pink champage on arrival. the room was great with a four poster bed and a jacuzzi. Everything we used was replaced each morning with fresh things even if it wasn't all used like the soap. We used the pool a number of times and enjoyed it very much whilst it might not seem that big it is perfect for a nice well earned soak after a hard day stomping around york. the staff were fantastic and so friendly the morning staff that served breakfast were a credit to the hotel. The room attendants were lovely, carefully replacing rose petals(that had fell on the floor) back on to the bed for our return. The night porters never got fed up of us in and out,in and out for the keys as we came and went. The reception staff were very caring checking on our stay making sure everything was as best as it could be. We had a brilliant time and will definitely be booking again. Expected a lot more
Scruffy Hotel not worth the money shower in room did not work properly we were not compensated for this and nothing was done about it. Receptionist had bad customer service skills. Would have expected a lot more for the money.
