Hi. We stayed at the acropolis hotel and it was lovely. The owners and there family are a pleasure to be around, and we have made some good friends. How rude to the comment underneath, the owners are lovely and its a shame the hotel is going. Hope to keep in contact with them. Facilities are good and the rooms are nice.

I must have had 'mug' written across my forehead. £120 for an overnight stay for 4 in a room as big as my bathroom. It was so bad I took photos to remind me of this dump. The outdoor facilities matched the interior, you wouldnt get your breath. I didnt bother to complain at the time, I was too embarrased to admit that I fell for the website flannel. My Wife and I have always held Weymouth close to our hearts, sorry to have to say we wont be going back. Next stop Holiday Inn (Poole).

We have enjoyed several stays at this Hotel over the past 6 years. First off, we were found this accomodation by the Local Tourist Information centre, when we had problems with our previous accomodationa at a Weymouth Caravan Site (who shall remain nameless!)... On our first occassion as a family, they were quite full and we only needed 5 nights out of our 7 night holiday. They very kindly offered us their "middle sized flat" that sleeps 6-8 persons although we were a 4 person holiday. It was self catering. The accomodation and the staff were excellent, that we have been back there on a regular basis. George and Paulette the owners are excellent, very friendly and very welcoming that we have become friends over the years... infact, George now also has his own Greek Wine Shop and Delicatessen in Weymouth town centre, which is only a short walk from the hotel. His wine and his food are superb! He also, if you are a complete novice with wine knows exactly what to recommend when you tell him your needs/expectations. The hotel, be it the individual rooms, or the various sized flats are all very well equipped and in a clean condition upon your arrival. They are also open 24hrs for any late/early arrival requirements.
We would fully recommend this establishment to anyone, be it individuals, or families, or executives travelling for work committments. The facilities at the Hotel are great. There is also a "Greek Restaurant" on site and George does the cooking!
We always look forward to returning to this Hotel, for any period of time. the costs also are so very reasonable. The hotel accomodation itself includes a full english breakfast and the flatlets are all self-catering. The hotel accomodation, is not strictly bed and breakfast - you are allowed back into your accomodation anytime - the only exception being when they are fully booked and they have to have fairly strict arrival and departure times to allow for the cleaning of the rooms etc.
