Very Poor Customer Care

I have stayed at this hotel every year for the past 5 years. I always go to the Glastonbury Festival and as accommodation is at a premium I book the hotel a year in advance as we leave to ensure we have accommodation for this event. Loved the hotel so much that we always stayed there even when the festival wasn't on and we always booked extra days so we could relax there. The hotel has sadly changed ownership and has deteriorated considerably as a result. Despite our booking the new owners deny having a record of it (how convenient) and despite having vacancies they refuse to allow us to stay as they are actively seeking a 'block booking' The new owners, the Millers, have also increased the cost of a stay - we were paying £125 per night for a beautiful room - now they require £265 per night - that's if you pass whatever criteria they are using to vet their customers. It's sad to see such a wonderful hotel deteriorate under the ownership of what appears to be very greedy, uncaring people who couldn't care less about their regular customers.
