Spent 5 days hol with National Holidays, setting off from Blackpool with a 10 hr ride to reach Torquay.
Hotel really nice, some of the bedrooms need a bit of a touch up, and the en-suite left a bit to be desired......but fulfilled its use. There are tea/coffee facilities in room, TV and radio.
Meals were excellent,all 3 courses, and the waitress service was brilliant.I asked for extra bacon and sausage, and it was no problem.
Entertainment every night, all quite good, though wasn't too keen on the Bingo.
Overall a pleasant stay, even the people we travelled with/ met there were very pleasant.

You must never, never stay here, the hotel is full of health and safety problmes and the local management do not give a dam for your care. Smelly rooms, smelly drains, wires everywhere and not suitable for older people.

The hotel itself could do with a good overhaul inside and out however the staff and service can not be faulted. Always happy, cheerful and obliging. Entertainment's manager Neil was excellent - really enjoyed the entertainment provided. Age group 65-75.

Top Local Tips for Torquay

getting about. The bus stops around the corner and is frequent and good value.

Gorgeous food! Go and visit The Babbacombe Inn/Hullabaloo on the front as their food is to die for and reasonably priced

Buses are brilliant If you haven't got over 60's travel get a £4 all day travel ticket
