Good value for money

Excellent value for money, £120 for 3 nights all inclusive, the food could not be faulted, or the free drinks, the entertainment was very basic, but some of the guests werent really interested, the entertainer had to try hard. all the staff were very polite and helpful with the exception of the manager who couldnt do enough for the coach parties but not us who were self drive. We would go on another weekend all inclusive break but not to Tor Park
Great holiday

Having just returned from our 4 night all-inclusive break at the Tor Park Hotel, I can't wait to book my next shearings holiday. The hotel standard of food, entertainment, rooms, service, friendliness was second to none, the food was varied every night and tasted wonderful, the entertainment was excellent. The exterior of the hotel was not one of the best I have seen, but once through the door, all is forgiven. Wouldn't hesitate in booking again.

Stag Week at Shearings!

My brother choose to have a small stag week away to relax rather than the usual large group of guys drinking heavily and tying the groom to a lamp post!
His bestman booked up the holiday and we paid under £200 all inclusive for 4 nights (including drinks between 6pm - 11pm).
The hotel was well presented and all of the staff were extremely friendly. They had no concerns about us being a group of "blokes" on a stag week and if anything were interested in the change of clientel from the usual Shearings clients!
Our rooms were as you would expect, TV and tea/coffee making facilities with ensuite - all very clean and well presented.
We had a daily maide service that made up the rooms and left clean towles as well as replacing any used tea/coffee.
The food was excellent. The portions were fine and keep in mind that this comes from a a group of blokes (I myself am well over 6 foot and weigh in at just under 18stone!) :)
We had a cooked breakfast each morning with a choice of cerals and fruite juices plus toast with tea/coffee.
some of the evening meals tasted a little - pre-packed but again, they were still enjoyable.
The evening entertainment was clearly aimed at the OAP clients but I don't fault the hotel on this as this represents 95% of their clientel.
Even so, we joined in and ended up really enjoying ourselves! I even won the bingo one night! :)
The cabaret acts were varying in their skills. one guys was particularly good while another was crap! - but these were only on for around 30mins and the main entertainment was managed by the Entertainment Manager - Sara; she was excellent and got everyone involved - she had us guys up doing a rendition of YMCA with full fancy-dress ! :)
The hotel is located quite a walk from the main centre of town and if you find walking difficult and intend on going into town, you may have to rely on the bus or a taxi - taxi costs £5 into town by the way.
We all really enjoyed our break and intend on going again next year for a reunion holiday ;)
