we had a great time sevice & staff were excellent. rooms were very good even our friends single room was plentiful,no trouble when we requested clean towels,even service to our rooms was excellent.good choice menu something for all tastes.the grounds that the hotel stands in is brill!!whats better to sit outside before breakfast getting some good fresh air.we have booked for next year!!!we have stayed in 3 and 4 star hotels before,they have not been as good as this one!!!!

we stayed there for a week in june,all the staff were very helpful and friendly,our rooms were fab even our friends single room was a good size spotlessly clean,no problem changing our towels service to rooms was first class!!!good choice menu,something for all tastes.the grounds the hotel stands in fantastic some good fresh air before breakfast.we have booked for next year!!!

After being given the number for this hotel via a friend who rated this establishment, a group of 11 of us booked in. The room was not adequate for 2 people with suitcases! After a number of seperate problems throughout the weeks stay, which should have been dealt with in a much more professional manner. I will not be recommending this hotel to anyone I know as I would not want them to experience the poor service that my friends and I witnessed. Very disappointing! It is not too much to ask for clean towels and sheets when in a hotel for a weeks stay. I will also add that our stay was cut short due to this.

The person responsible for writing the review was asked to leave the hotel. He was a young person, part of a tennis group attending a tournament - most of the group have stayed with us before. This young man was rude, arrogant and used abusive langauge in the reception area in front of guests and staff. We would not allow this person to stay at he Howden Court Hotel again. We wish for this persons review to be removed.

We have stayed at this hotel many times. Everyone has always been helpful and friendly. Nothing too much trouble. The food is excellent and plentiful and there is a very good choice. We would recommend the hotel to anyone.

Families Go There ! It's Fab !

We stayed here twice this year and will be returning. Staff brilliant, service fab, garden beautiful. If you have kids, they will love it! Our kids could play freely. Very relaxed, friendly, nothing too much trouble! I look forward to my return.
