dont do it!
After being given the number for this hotel via a friend who rated this establishment, a group of 11 of us booked in. The room was not adequate for 2 people with suitcases! After a number of seperate problems throughout the weeks stay, which should have been dealt with in a much more professional manner. I will not be recommending this hotel to anyone I know as I would not want them to experience the poor service that my friends and I witnessed. Very disappointing! It is not too much to ask for clean towels and sheets when in a hotel for a weeks stay. I will also add that our stay was cut short due to this.
Management Response from Peter Fannon, proprietor The person responsible for writing the review was asked to leave the hotel. He was a young person, part of a tennis group attending a tournament - most of the group have stayed with us before. This young man was rude, arrogant and used abusive langauge in the reception area in front of guests and staff. We would not allow this person to stay at he Howden Court Hotel again. We wish for this persons review to be removed.

Great service
We have stayed at this hotel many times. Everyone has always been helpful and friendly. Nothing too much trouble. The food is excellent and plentiful and there is a very good choice. We would recommend the hotel to anyone.

Families Go There ! It's Fab !
We stayed here twice this year and will be returning. Staff brilliant, service fab, garden beautiful. If you have kids, they will love it! Our kids could play freely. Very relaxed, friendly, nothing too much trouble! I look forward to my return.

Just don't!
Just don't go there! Food appallingly bad...some people must be willing to put up with anything, as very poor standard and yet hotel was full of non-complaining guests to our amazement
Our room was so small, our case had to go on top of the wardrobe or it would have been impossible to walk around the bed!
