After reading some reviews of this hotel (after booking)i have to say that we were expecting a grim break. The hotel could do with a make over, but in all i found it to be clean and warm. and for the price both myself and partner found the meals to be lovely.

Location wonderful pity the Hotel wasnt.
Bartek jumps on bus after 10 hours travel with a list of dos and donts.
Luckily there was a harvesters over the road as some of the meals were awful,,breakfast was 60,s Blackpool fare 1 sausage, 1 pigeons egg,1 piece of sometimes cooked bacon and a spoonful of beans.
The rooms are small and the shower,room18,only fit for use for a child or very small adult.
You are crammed in to the extent of the fire exit being blocked by a table.best to avoid this place.
The entertainment was a joke but unfortunately they were not comedians.ALFA SHOULD BE ASHAMED AS THEY OWN THE HOTEL

The staff were very helpful and extrememy hard working.
The trouble with this hotel is that it very grotty and left a lot to be desired.
Also the food was very mediocre and some of the meals were just plain awful. The tables were crammed in and there was no elbow room to say the very least.
If this is an example of Alphas 'Leisureplex' hotels I will be giving them a miss from now on and advising my family /friends to do the same.

Had a brilliant stay and cannot find any faults. Bartel, the manager, was so helpful in every way. Vanessa in charge of the dining room was so lovely, it made our meal times a pleasure. We would certainly stay at the Regina again. Highly recommended.

Standard Leisureplex Menu offers good variety. Bar range limited but prices are very competitive. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Renovation due during 2008.
