For a 3* hotel @ £140 per night B&B this was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in, poor value for money. Exceptionally shabby and neglected. The staff were excellent but let down by their surroundings. On complaining at reception was advised to put comments in writing. I would not recommend this Hotel to anyone, the 3* rating misleads and does not reflect the shabby condition of this hotel.

This hotel is dated, but lovely. The staff are first class, ever helpful. The restaurant is superb. Service is faultless, food superb. Yes the hotel could do with a lick of paint here and there, but overall, very good.

After deciding to take a weekend break to Torquay, we booked the Corbyn head Hotel. On arrival all looked well. The staff are very friendly and food good, but the hotel is appalling for relaxing. The rooms are very small, and this is the noisiest hotel we have stayed in and I have stayed in plenty. The floorboards creek and groan everytime someone walks along the dated and gloomy corridors. The walls are paper thin so don't expect privacy, you can hear people across the corridor and about three or four rooms down the corridor.Very poor stay so you have been warned.
